Beyeonics Surgical is a medical device start-up company located in Haifa, Israel. Beyeonics develops a surgical platform for spine and brain surgeries incorporating AR/VR headset, Navigation, and imaging. Beyeonics R&D group is built from a multidisciplinary collection of experts in the fields of electro-optics, mechanical, SW, HW, and algorithm engineering.
We are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join the team.
Job Description:
- Perform and fulfill mechanical design activities (Miniature design, Design for production, Opto-mechanical design).
- Evaluate the outcomes of the design and provide feedback as needed.
- Identify the mechanical improvements in the product and define the mechanical design roadmap of the product.
- Design and implement device improvements & modifications, test equipment, and manufacturing jigs.
- Create and maintain accurate technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and engineering reports.
Requirements:
- Sc. in Mechanical engineering
- 5 years’ experience as an R&D mechanical engineer in the fields of fine mechanics – MUST.
- Independent & responsible person with strong execution, communication & interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Opto-Mechanical design – Highly advantageous.
- Managing mechanical design sub-contractors- An advantage.
- Experience in the medical device industry – An advantage.
